Welcome! I'm a founder/CEO, full-stack engineer, university adjunct instructor, and startup advisor.

I'm currently building The Mirror, a next-gen game development platform.

I don't have a computer science degree, but through building virtual worlds in Second Life when I was kid, I learned how to code and have since written code for SpaceX, numerous startups, and taught software engineering at the University of Denver. Free-market incentives where you can get paid to learn change things: I hope The Mirror can do the same for many people.

Here you'll find my writings, simply titled "Reflections", about technology, game development, startups, philosophy, theology, personal development, and more.

I'd love to connect! I do public speaking and podcasts, and I'd be happy to see if we can be of help to each other. Please feel free to reach out on Twitter or email me at jared at jared dot bio.

Thank you for visiting.

Background

Before founding The Mirror, I've consulted for companies ranging from 2-person startups to 100,000+ corporations in both technical and business capacities.

To quote a former colleague from SpaceX: "How many thousands of hours do you think you saved us?"
